Future Assembly at Somerset House

Join us for an evening of discussion with expert speakers, followed by a collaborative brainstorming session exploring how we can engage citizens and stakeholders in imagining the future and together start building a better world today.

During the referendum many people, both in the Leave and Remain camps, expressed the feeling that they had lost any connection with the political system. They want to be heard and know their voices make a difference. Can arts and culture contribute imaginative approaches Can arts and culture contribute to restoring our collective confidence in politics and how can we, as active citizens, work with politicians, the civil service and institutions to build the best possible nation for all?

On December 1 at Somerset House we will present the results of Future Assembly, bring together an expert panel and together with the audeince explore the possibilities of creativity in citizenship. We'll explore how we create space for political imagination, creative citizen engagement and dialogue between policy makers and citizens. 

We'll imagine the future together, to start building a better world today.
